We have partnered with one of the nation's most trusted names in identity theft protection to provide you with access to a comprehensive suite of services to address fraud caused by identity theft if it happens to you or your family member. These services  include:
  • Fully Manged Identity Theft Recovery:

    a professional, certified and licensed Recovery Advocate will work on your behalf to restore your identity to pre-event status, for any type of identity fraud you night experience, or even suspect.  This service extends to cover you and up to three generations of family!   Click here for complete Terms and Conditions

  • Identity Theft Reimbursement Insurance - up to $25,000*:

     you may receive reimbursement for  out of pocket expenses incurred during the identity recovery process up to the program limit, including reimbursement for lost wages, attorney's fee, and other expenses.  Click here for Evidence of Coverage 
     
  • Entitlement to Credit Monitoring:

     if you decide to activate this service you will receive alerts of changes to your credit file that could signal identity theft. We can even send the alerts to our in a text message for ease of use and rapid communication. The entitlement extends to the primary account holder only, and is applicable to individuals age 18 and older who have a valid credit file. NOTE: You must follow an easy activation process in order to receive the benefits of credit monitoring.

    To activate this service:  

    IMPORTANT: You will not be able to activate your entitlement to Credit Monitoring until 10/01/19. Current checking account holders will receive a communication from NEFCU welcoming you to the program and providing your unique Enrollment ID. 
  • Mobile Device Protection 

Mobile Device Protection is a one-of-a-kind mobile phone benefit that reimburses you for damage or malfunction, with no
pre-registration required. This protection provided reimbursement for the cost of labor and parts necessary to repair an eligible device, which may be a new or used cell phone or smartphone of the phone is active on your wireless phone bill. If the device is NOT repairable this protection will provide a reimbursement for the cost of replacement. The program cover Accidental Damage from Handling, such as a cracked screen, or a Mechanical or Electrical Breakdown. Mobile Device Protection extends to all named account holders on your checking account. You are eligible to file a claim 30 days after you open an NEFCU checking account - just contact us and we will verify your eligibility and begin the claims process. Additional terms, conditions, and limitations may apply, so it is important that you carefully review the "Mobile Device Coverage Member Services Agreement.
