What is RoundUp?
Purchases made using your debit card are "round up" to the next dollar and the extra funds are automatically deposited into your savings account. Small savings add up fast!
How does it work?
- Rounds any eligible debit card purchase on your checking account to the next whole dollar.
- Automatically transfers the spare change into a designated savings account.
- Example: Debit card purchase of $4.62 , $0.38 will "round up" into your savings account.
- Any debit card associated with the account will initiate round-up.
How to enroll:
Members must contact the credit union to enroll in RoundUp. Please call 402-563-5900 or 800-453-3913.

What is required to start using RoundUp?
You must have an NEFCU Share Draft Account and Debit Card.
Is there a fee for using RoundUp?
No, there is no cost to opt in to RoundUp
Where does the money go?
RoundUp funds go directly in to any eligible Share account under the same account.
Which purchases qualify for RoundUp?
All debit card purchases, including recurring charges, will activate Round Up.
When does RoundUp post?
RoundUp funds will post each morning.
What if I decide I no longer want to participate in RoundUp?
Members can opt out of the program at any time by contacting the credit union at 800-453-3913 or 402-563-5900.
What if there are not enough funds to round up?
If there are not enough funds, the transfer will not process and it will not attempt to process a 2nd time.
What happens in the event a purchase is canceled or returned?
If a purchase made with you debit card is canceled or returned, only the original debit amount will be refunded. You will not see a reversal of the round-up amount. It will remain in your savings account.
